Review the skills members offer

Your members carry skills you may never have known to ask for. Kadim lets any volunteer offer a skill in one tap; you decide what to do with each offer.

Read your offers

1. Open Tasks from the menu and tap the Offers chip, which carries a count of the offers waiting for you.
2. Each row shows the member’s name and skill. Tap it and the offer opens in a sheet; any private note they added appears there for coordinators only.
3. In the offer sheet, choose:
   • Accept - records the skill on that member, so a call-out for it can reach them.
   • Save for later - keep it without recording the skill yet.
   • Decline - not needed right now.

Accepting turns an offer into service

When you accept, the skill is recorded exactly like any other skill. Later, when you post a call-out that needs it (the same Tasks flow you already use), Kadim finds the members who have that skill and texts them, no broadcast. The volunteer accepts through the secure claim link and phone verification, and the mosque stops paying for what it already had.

Reviewing an offer never assigns that member to a task. Accept records the skill, Save for later leaves the offer pending, and Decline refuses it.

What a skill does and does not do

A recorded skill is a matching hint, nothing more. It never grants access to anything. Roles and DBS checks still gate every duty exactly as before: accepting a “youth mentor” offer, for example, records the skill but grants no youth-work placement. Human review is deliberate: nothing is recorded without your accept.
