Thank the team: one tap after a rota is served

The rota is done and the chairs are stacked. The one thing every coordinator means to say, and most forget by Maghrib, is thank you. Kadim gives you one tap for it.

Thank the team

  1. Open a rota whose date has passed and that had at least one person serving.
  2. Tap ⋯ (Rota actions) at the top of the board. Thank the team is there.
  3. Tap it. Everyone who served gets a single, warm text, for example: “JazakAllahu khairan for serving at Jummah, from your coordinator and the whole team.”

No composing, no group chat, no @-mentions that miss the people who are not in the group. One tap, and the people who actually showed up hear from you.

It sends once, and only once

Kadim sends the thanks once per rota. Tap it again and nothing new goes out; the sheet simply shows Thanks sent. You can never double-text your team by accident.

Honest about who was reached

If someone’s number has texts stopped, Kadim will not text them, on this lane or any other. The confirmation tells you plainly, for example: “Thanks sent to 11 people. 1 not reachable by text.” You are never told a text arrived when it did not. You can still thank that person face to face, or share the roster link.

Quiet, private milestones

When someone reaches a milestone at your mosque, their tenth, twenty-fifth, fiftieth or hundredth time serving, Kadim adds one extra line to their own copy of the thanks: “That was your tenth time serving, may Allah reward every one.”

This is private to that person. There is no leaderboard, no top-ten, no comparison anywhere in Kadim, on purpose. Recognition is between the mosque and the individual, never a ranking. The milestone count is worked out from the Fridays they have already served; nobody has to track anything.
