Tell your mosque when you can serve

If you would help more often when the timing suits you, you can tell your mosque the times you are usually free. Your coordinator then sees, at a glance, who fits a slot before they ask. It is a hint for planning, never a promise, and it never stops you from claiming anything.

Where to find it

Open your mosque’s roster link, the same one you use to claim a slot. On a slot you have claimed, tap Set when you can serve. The page names the mosque you are setting times for, so if you help at more than one, you always know which one you are telling.

You need to have claimed a slot at least once, so the mosque knows it is really you. Nobody else can see or set your times.

Add a window

A window is one stretch of time on one day, for example Friday 12pm to 3pm.

  1. Tap Add a window.
  2. Pick a day, a start time and an end time.
  3. Add as many as you like. Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings are two separate windows.
  4. Tap Save.

Times are your local time, the clock on your wall. There is nothing to work out.

What your mosque sees, and what it does not

That is the whole idea: tell the mosque when suits you, and let the planning fit around your week.
